Product Launches 22 September 2025
A ninety-minute launch where the product was never shown on a screen — only heard, then revealed, then handed to the room.
Creative concept
Lumen makes speakers. Every launch they had ever run put the speaker on a screen. We argued the opposite: for ninety minutes the audience would hear the product working and never see it, until a single reveal put a physical unit into the hands of every person in the room.
A room-scale audio demonstration in a venue with a 9-second reverb tail, and a reveal that required 600 units distributed to seats without a queue, in under a minute.
We treated the room as an acoustic build: 140 square metres of temporary absorption flown behind the audience, and a delay-line design tuned across three days. The reveal used 24 crew in a pre-rehearsed distribution pattern seeded from the aisles.
The demo held silence in a room of 600 for nineteen seconds before the first note. Distribution completed in 38 seconds against a 60-second target. Coverage picked up the reveal rather than the spec sheet, which was the entire point.
Run of show 5 cues
Abridged from the working run sheet. Every line was owned by a named person before the doors opened.

Film
Films for client events are shared privately. The photo essay is the public record.
How we cover eventsThe client
They talked us out of showing our own product for an hour and a half. It was the best advice we have ever been given about a launch.
