Concerts 18 – 19 April 2025
Two stages, eight and a half thousand people a night, and a site plan drawn so the crowd never had to choose between a set and a queue.
Creative concept
Festival design is crowd design. We laid the site so that the two stages never fought each other acoustically, and so the walk between them passed food and water rather than a dead fence line.
A waterfront site with one vehicle access point, a 23:00 noise curfew and a monsoon-season ground condition that ruled out heavy plant after the first rain.
All heavy build was completed in a 48-hour window before the forecast break. Stage headings were set 118° apart with a natural bund between them. Bars were sized from measured throughput at the client’s previous event, not from a per-head ratio.
Peak bar wait measured six minutes against a fifteen-minute tolerance. Both nights closed within four minutes of curfew. No stage-to-stage acoustic complaints were logged by either front-of-house position.
Run of show 5 cues
Abridged from the working run sheet. Every line was owned by a named person before the doors opened.

Film
Films for client events are shared privately. The photo essay is the public record.
How we cover eventsThe client
We have run this festival with three different production companies. Evoque is the first who came back with a crowd plan before they came back with a stage design.
