Conferences 11 October 2024
Nine hundred employees, one room, one day — and a leadership session that ran without a single slide.
Creative concept
Internal conferences lose the room after lunch. We restructured the day so the highest-energy content sat where attention historically collapsed, and closed with an unscripted leadership session with no deck at all.
A single-track day for 900 people with a 45-minute lunch service and a hard 17:30 finish set by transport.
Lunch was served as three simultaneous zones rather than one queue. The closing session was rehearsed as a conversation with a moderator, with the deck deliberately removed.
Ninety-two per cent of the room was still seated at 17:20. Lunch cleared 900 covers in 41 minutes.
Run of show 4 cues
Abridged from the working run sheet. Every line was owned by a named person before the doors opened.

Film
Films for client events are shared privately. The photo essay is the public record.
How we cover eventsThe client
Taking the slides away from the closing session was the bravest thing anyone has suggested to us. It worked.
