Creative concept

The idea
the night was built on.

Rather than change the room in visible steps, we let it drift. The lighting moved from a cool early evening to deep candle-warm by 03:00 so slowly that no guest could name the moment it changed.

The challenge

A seven-and-a-half hour continuous drift across 96 fixtures without a single visible step or colour shift on skin tones.

The solution

A single timeline programmed to the whole night rather than to cues, with skin-tone reference checks at eight points during rehearsal.

The execution

The drift ran unattended from 19:30 to 03:00. The photography team reported no white-balance corrections across the night.
