Terms and conditions
The rules of membership, the floor and this website. Short, and in plain English, because nobody reads the other kind.

These terms
By joining IRONHAUS or using this website you accept the terms below. We may change them, and if we do we will email members at least thirty days before anything takes effect.

Membership
Membership is personal to you and cannot be lent, shared or transferred. You must be 16 or over; members aged 16 and 17 need a parent or guardian to countersign and cannot use the combat room.
Monthly memberships run on a rolling basis and cancel with one month's notice, given in the app or in writing. Quarterly and annual memberships run to the end of the term you paid for. Freezing is available for up to three months in any twelve at £15 a month, and is free with a GP note.
The one-off onboarding fee is £49 and is waived on annual plans. It is refundable in full if you cancel within fourteen days and have not yet had your assessment.
Payment
Subscriptions are taken by direct debit or card on the same date each month. If a payment fails we will try again after five days and let you know. Access may be suspended after a second failure, and we will always contact you before that happens.
We have raised prices twice in sixteen years. When we do, existing members get at least one month's written notice and the option to cancel without penalty.
Using the clubs
Follow the instructions of coaching staff, return weights to the rack, wipe down equipment and wear appropriate footwear. Do not film other members without their agreement — this one we enforce.
Classes are capped and released seven days ahead, or ten for Premium. Cancel more than four hours before and there is no penalty; three late cancellations in a month will pause your advance booking for a week.
We can suspend or end a membership for behaviour that makes the club unsafe or unpleasant for other members. This is rare and we will always explain it in writing.
Health and liability
You confirm you are fit to train and will tell us about any condition or injury that affects that. Our coaches are qualified and insured, but training carries inherent risk and you take part voluntarily.
We are liable for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. We are not liable for property left in lockers, or for indirect losses. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Law and complaints
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
Complaints go to concierge@ironhaus.club and reach a director within one working day. We will give you a written answer inside fourteen days.
