The process
How a week is built
From a first email to the passerelle is typically three weeks. It can be three days.

01
Tell us what you imagine
A rough week, a coast, a number of people. If you only know two of the three, that is still enough to start.

02
We curate your yacht
Usually three boats, each with an honest note about why it might not suit you. We would rather lose a booking than place you badly.

03
We design your route
Written with the captain who will run it, around the weather, the anchorages and the tables that need booking six weeks out.

04
You step aboard
Provisioning, transfers, permits, berths and dinner on the first night are already handled. You bring a bag.

What is and is not included
The single most common source of surprise in yacht chartering, dealt with before you book.
- Included
- The yacht, her crew, insurance for the vessel, linen, and the use of every tender, toy and dive set aboard.
- Advance Provisioning Allowance
- Typically 30% of the charter fee. Covers fuel, food, drink, berthing, port fees and shore arrangements. Reconciled at the end; the balance is returned to you.
- VAT
- Charged by the flag state and the waters you cruise — 22% in Italy, 20% in France, 24% in Greece as a guide. Not applicable in the Seychelles or the Maldives.
- Gratuity
- Customary at 5–15% of the charter fee. Never solicited by the crew, and entirely your call.
- Not included
- Flights, travel insurance, and anything you buy ashore in your own name.
